Side-by-side

XES Extreme vs. off-brand net wrap.

XES Extreme Typical Off-Brand
Breaking strength 680 lbf / strip — DLG-tested Unrated — “heavy duty” marketing claim
Independent test report DLG #7439 · ISO 9001:2008 Self-reported, no third-party report
Footage per roll 9,840 ft + 150 ft bonus guaranteed Stated footage often short on the spool
End-of-roll warning Last 164 ft turns red None — runs out without warning
UV resistance 12 months min. (DIN EN ISO 4892-2) Marketing claim, no test standard cited
Distribution Factory-direct. Free continental US shipping Multi-step dealer chain — 30-50% markup
⚠ “Heavy duty” without a test report is just a sticker. XES Extreme is certified by DLG — the same independent body that benchmarks John Deere, Krone, and Claas. Report #7439, 6 pp, public.
⚠ Running out mid-field costs more than the roll. A half-wrapped bale gets re-baled or dumped. The red last-164 ft on every XES roll tells you when to swap before it happens.
Close-up of the XES Extreme patented warp-inserted knitted chain net wrap structure.

Knitted strength.
Field-proven.

XES Extreme uses a patented warp-inserted knitted chain structure — high-tenacity HDPE warp threads locked at every weft cross. It's the geometry that lets dozens of strips engage on every wrap, so even heavy, wet, or irregular bales hold tight from the field through winter feeding. Compatible with John Deere, New Holland, Vermeer, Case IH, Claas, Krone, Kuhn — and every other major round baler.

How it holds

Why XES Extreme holds tight.

1
Warp-inserted knit

High-tenacity HDPE warp threads run the full length of the roll — the load path.

2
Cross-strand lock

Weft yarn knits around each warp at every row, locking the geometry under tension.

3
UV stabilizer

HDPE loaded with stabilizer for a 12-month outdoor minimum — tested DIN EN ISO 4892-2.

4
Tube packaging

Each roll ships in a rigid tube — no dust, no crush, no field rip on the spool.

Common questions

Answered straight.

How fast does it ship?

Orders typically ship within 24-48 business hours from our US warehouse. Free continental US shipping is included on every order — customers report delivery in 2-7 business days depending on location.

Will it fit my baler?

Yes — XES Extreme is built to fit every major round baler: John Deere, New Holland, Vermeer, Case IH, Claas, Krone, Kuhn, and others. Available in 48", 51", 64", and 67" widths. Unsure which size fits your model? Email sales@balenets.com with your baler model — we’ll confirm same day.

Why is it cheaper than my local dealer?

We sell factory-direct. No dealer chain, no middleman, no 30-50% retail markup. Same DLG-tested net wrap (Report #7439), shipped straight to your farm.

Can I buy a single roll, or only by the pallet?

Single rolls or full pallets — no minimum order. Pallet pricing is available; email sales@balenets.com for a same-day quote.

Is there a warranty?

Yes — XES Extreme is backed by a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, produced under ISO 9001:2008 certified processes. Contact sales@balenets.com if your order has any issue and we’ll resolve it the same day.

How many wraps per bale should I use?

We recommend 2–2.5 wraps for silage, 2.5–3 for hay, and 3–4 for straw. Some farms have moved from 4 wraps (on previous brands) down to 2–2.5 with XES Extreme — the 680 lbf strip strength means fewer wraps to achieve the same bale integrity, lowering your cost per bale.
