How is this calculated?

Wrap consumed per bale (ft) = π × diameter × wraps. Net wrap covers the cylindrical surface of the bale, so each wrap is one circumference (π × diameter).

Bales per roll = roll length ÷ wrap-per-bale. Cost per bale = roll price ÷ bales per roll.

We use the standard width × diameter bale-size convention from Texas A&M Extension (Banta, 2022).

XES recommends 2.5–3 wraps per bale on our patented knit. This calculator uses 3 wraps conservatively.

How many times should I wrap the net around each bale?

Drier, lower-cohesion crops like straw need more wraps to hold their shape, and longer outdoor storage pushes you toward the high end.

Shipping is free to the continental US. All orders ship from our California warehouse and most deliveries arrive within 5-7 business days.

Online ordering process and net wrap delivery time

I placed my online order for a roll of net wrap on a Friday afternoon. The process was straightforward, easy, quick and the net wrap was delivered by FedEx the following Friday afternoon, five business days later without incurring any shipping costs.

Moreover, I saved $10 by signing up for the XES Extreme Bale Newsletter which enhanced the overall value of the purchase.

Finally, I have yet to use the net wrap. The diameter of the roll is approximately 1.1 inches smaller than the roll I’m currently using even though the overall length is stated to be the same, 7,000 feet.

I would have gave this review five stars because I really like the net wrap it flows through the Baler like Silk it's a great product. I'm giving it three stars because it took 2 weeks to get a roll, I don't know if it was on FedEx's end or the warehouse either way I would recommend the product just order early.

Thinner than our previous net. Gets caught on baler drum sometimes. Some rolls don't have warning indicating net is running out or very faint.

Turns out to be reliable wrap. Purchased sample roll (white) that failed repeatedly. Excellent customer support tgat assured me the green wrap has better tensile strength. Has worked well for 100+ heavy rolls.

Used the sample roll and bought a full size roll in case we get to bale more this year. Seems to work fine. Have to cut end of card board roll off for it to fit in my baler.
